Aligning the company with its considerable growth over the years, Floth Sustainable Building Consultants founder George Floth, has taken the position of Chairman, handing the reins to R. Glenn Ralph as the new national Managing Director.
Founding the engineering firm in 1984, George’s wealth of experience and careful guidance has helped the company grow to become one of Australia’s leading sustainable engineering firms.
George said the growth and success of the company was a result of having a team of stand-out engineers who push the boundaries and exceed client expectations.
“I have no doubt that with our team of experienced engineers and partners, that we will continue to provide our clients with the best practical, cost effective and creative engineering solutions possible.”
Previously holding the position of Managing Partner of the Brisbane office, Glenn has many years of engineering expertise under his belt, with 18 of his professional years spent working his way through the ranks at Floth.
Glenn said the company had grown considerably over the past few years, to meet the growing demand for sustainable building services.
“Even through the GFC, the company continued to grow its staff numbers, and was very successful in securing work throughout this period.
“It’s a team environment we promote at Floth and we’re always looking to foster and mentor engineering talent.”
Congratulations also go to Richard Hewitt of the Brisbane office who has recently been made Director and Tim Blaxland and Jim Allen who have been made Partners at Floth’s Sydney office.
